Job description

The Quality Analyst leads certain system wide quality process improvement projects to include performing data analysis and entry, and report generation. Responsibilities include facilitating quality improvement initiatives that are in alignment with our system wide quality goals, data analysis, interpreting and reporting quality data for Piedmont Medical Center Hospital executive staff, medical staff, and appropriate teams and committees. Focus areas include leading the transitional care efforts for our acute care patients, working with external facilities to coordinate this care, and facilitating disease management for our high risk patient populations.

Piedmont Medical Network - Fort Mill Hospital opened in 2022 to serve the growing and vibrant community of Fort Mill, SC. This 100-bed facility features advanced technology, all-new equipment, and a compassionate staff. Services include a 24/7 emergency department, an intensive care unit, a medical/surgical unit, and comprehensive women's care including The Nest, a dedicated space for labor and delivery. Required

  • Education: Associates in Nursing required. 
  • Experience: 3 or year(s) of experience in a health care environment
  • Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: 
    • A valid Permanent Multi-State LPN or RN License from the state in which you reside is required. 
    • Should you hold a LPN or RN license from another Compact state, you are required to apply for and obtain a Multi-State LPN or RN License from the state in which you reside within 30 days. 

Preferred

  • Education: BSN preferred
  • Experience: Experience in creation of spreadsheets and graphs and displaying statistical information on outcome measures preferred
  • Certifications/Registrations/Licenses:  CPHQ preferred
  • Demonstrates the PMC Customer Service Standards, which is key in providing quality service to patients and customers
  • Demonstrates the WMH Transformation for Success eight elements, which are key in providing quality service to patients and customers.
  • Works with Department Directors or designees to assure data collection and reporting meet the expected criteria and are reported timely
  • Remains informed of developments in area of expertise by attending seminars and workshops, reading pertinent literature, and so forth.
  • Complies with TJC and other regulatory agency requirements.
  • Performs related duties as required.
