Hourly Pay Range:

$58.50 - $90.68 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Hybrid Position
  • Local travel to other corporate locations will be required as needed

Job Summary:
As the Manager of Network Engineering at Endeavor Health, you will be responsible for managing the solutions specific to areas of responsibility including full life cycle management, from strategic planning, deployment, and maintenance of the launch of solutions and platforms. In addition, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities with the goal of reducing manual efforts, contributing to growth of the organization, promotion of patient and user experience and creating innovative solutions with operations, fostering strong working relationships with key stakeholders and vendors to align technology solutions to the goals of the system, promoting the consistent use of available tools, techniques, workflows, and platforms, budgeting, and management/administrative tasks assigned.
To be successful in this role, you will be expected to remain updated on the latest solutions and technologies and advocate for the adoption of industry best practices.
What you will do:

  • Drives end-to-end activities for the assigned solutions portfolio and developing and leading teams for high performance outcomes.
  • Provides direction for solution implementation including planning, technical setup, building, testing, training, deployment, optimizing, and support.
  • Establishes relationships with domain leaders to understand strategic business needs and user requirements; identifies business requirements to guide specifications for ease of business operations.
  • Lead or participate in governance committees to collaborate with key stakeholders about priority and workload.
  • Develops strong partnerships with other fellow leaders to identify synergies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborates with vendors to ensure systems and solutions are achieving or exceeding the needs of the organization.
  • Contributes to activities such as: Capital and Operating budgets, policy and procedure development and adherence, talent management and acquisition, governance activities, and other duties as assigned.
  • Remains updated on latest technologies available in the market and promotes the implementation of relevant technologies. Participates in industry related organizations, such as HIMSS, CHIME, Epic UGM / XGM, VMWare World, as appropriate.
  • Collaborate and actively participate across functional components led by other leaders, ensuring overlaps and touch points are seamless, effective, efficient and achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Establishes vision and roadmaps for the enterprise, including but not limited to, Routing, Switching, WiFi, Firewalls, and network security.
  • Ensures stability, reliability, integration, security, and capacity planning for enterprise network services.
  • Provides technical knowledge and enablement to teams within their area of technical responsibility related to the software, system, platform or infrastructure that is owned.
  • Manages the completion of assignments related to the technology strategy, on-going maintenance, expansion or upgrade of assigned software, systems, platforms, infrastructure and devices within Endeavor.
  • Responsible for managing people assigned to technical project(s) focused on the delivery of a server, platform, software, system or infrastructure through the selection and design process and into a finished state for internal or external customers, inclusive of ensuring on-going operational readiness.
  • Escalates issues or roadblocks in execution or meeting milestones in a consistent and timely manner to Management.

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Five (5) or more years ofexperience in managing processes, applications, or systems in an integrated healthcare delivery system or relevant related industries.
  • Two (2) or more years of leadership experience. Experience using portfolio of responsibility.
  • Unique or Preferred Skills:
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills essential.
  • Solid understanding of information processing fundamentals and best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects with efficiency.
  • Strong domain knowledge and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to plan, lead and implement initiatives.
