As a Data Catalog and Data Governance Specialist, you will play a key role in building trusted, accessible, and well-managed data foundations across the organization. You will support the development of enterprise data catalog capabilities, strengthen metadata management practices, and establish governance frameworks that improve data quality and usability. Working closely with business and technical stakeholders, you will help define ownership models, stewardship practices, and standards that enable better decision-making. Accountabilities
  • Assess current data catalog, metadata management, and data governance capabilities to identify improvement opportunities and define future-state requirements.
  • Conduct stakeholder workshops and interviews with business and technical teams to understand data processes, ownership needs, risks, and priorities.
  • Identify critical data assets, document data flows and dependencies, and define requirements for effective catalog adoption.
  • Develop and support the implementation of enterprise data catalog strategies, including metadata standards, taxonomy, classification, business glossaries, and data documentation practices.
  • Establish and operationalize data governance frameworks, including data domains, ownership structures, stewardship models, and accountability processes.
  • Support Customer Domain governance initiatives by standardizing key concepts related to customer lifecycle, customer journey, customer interactions, and customer value.
  • Contribute to data quality improvement initiatives, compliance activities, audits, and governance documentation.
  • Identify data quality challenges and recommend practical remediation approaches.
  • Support data literacy and change management programs through training materials, workshops, presentations, and governance guides.
  • Provide strategic support to data leadership teams on initiatives related to data management, transformation, governance, and AI readiness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Catalog, Metadata Management, Data Governance, or Enterprise Data Management roles.
  • Proven experience implementing or managing enterprise data catalog solutions and metadata management capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of business glossaries, data lineage, data quality management, governance frameworks, stewardship models, and Master Data Management (MDM).
  • Experience defining data ownership structures, stewardship responsibilities, and governance operating models.
  • Previous experience supporting MDM and CRM initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC), Informatica Data Catalog, or similar platforms is an advantage.
  • Understanding of AI readiness, responsible AI practices, and data foundations required for AI initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into practical data management solutions.
  • Experience delivering workshops, training sessions, and change enablement initiatives.
  • Comfortable working in multicultural and international environments.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications in Data Governance, Data Management, Metadata Management, or MDM are considered an advantage.
Benefits
  • Fully remote work opportunity.
  • Opportunity to contribute to enterprise-wide data transformation initiatives.
  • Exposure to strategic projects involving data governance, AI readiness, and modern data management practices.
  • Opportunity to collaborate with international business and technology stakeholders.
  • Professional growth through involvement in complex data initiatives and governance frameworks.
  • Possibility to enhance expertise in data cataloging, metadata management, and enterprise data strategy.
