• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, utilizing interviews and assessments to accurately identify individual and family needs.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that address specific issues affecting clients, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities suitable for couples, families, and individuals.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients through their therapeutic journeys with empathy and professionalism.
• Assist clients in acquiring coping strategies, effective communication skills, and problem-solving techniques to navigate life’s challenges.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and social workers, to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date electronic health records, documenting client progress and adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay informed of the latest research and techniques in marriage and family therapy.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at New Providence Psychotherapy Center, you will work with a varied client population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and family dynamics. Our clients are often seeking support through challenging life transitions such as divorce, grief, or parenting complexities. • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• A current and valid license to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Nevada.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing therapy services in a professional setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage a diverse caseload independently.
• Comfort with electronic health record systems and relevant therapeutic technology.
• Commitment to upholding confidentiality and adhering to established ethical guidelines in the mental health field.

• Experience in a community health setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in using virtual therapy platforms and methods.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for family therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and other modalities.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
