This is a hands-on machining position for someone comfortable working in a prototype-oriented environment. You’ll manufacture custom plastic components using CNC and manual equipment, working from drawings, models and samples rather than simply loading parts and pressing cycle start.

  • Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes
  • Operate manual machining equipment as needed
  • Manufacture prototype and custom plastic components
  • Review drawings, models, instructions and samples before production
  • Select the appropriate machine, tooling and operating parameters for each job
  • Load, edit and troubleshoot CNC programs
  • Set tooling, work offsets and workholding
