Job description

Consolidated Gypsum Supply Ltd. is a Western Canadian distributor of building materials. We are currently looking for a dedicated and safety-conscious Delivery/Warehouse Material Handler to join our Calgary team.

This  position involves both working on a delivery crew and working within our warehouse to ensure the safe and efficient handling of building materials.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Load/unload and deliver building materials to residential, commercial, and industrial sites
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and on-site hazard assessment
  • Pick and assemble orders accurately and efficiently
  • Assist customers with order pick-ups
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and delivery vehicle

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract 
  • Previous experience driving delivery trucks and operating forklifts or similar machinery
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 120 lbs repeatedly and for extended periods
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and on uneven surfaces
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Must provide a satisfactory criminal record check
