Job description

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Role:

As the Manufacturing Test Manager, you will lead the manufacturing test team, developing and implementing robust test strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. This role involves overseeing the design and improvement of test systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement in our test operations to meet production goals and quality standards. Your leadership and technical expertise will be crucial in contributing to our scalable computer cooling solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to develop and align manufacturing test strategies that meet product, process, and businessobjectives.
  • Partner with Design Engineering and Product Development to ensure test requirements are integrated early in the design phase and evolve alongside product changes.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Operations teams to ensure test systems and methods areoptimizedfor scalability, efficiency, and repeatability.
  • Engage with Quality Assurance toestablishclear feedback loops between test data and quality performance metrics, supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain and Procurement teams toalign ontest equipment standards, supplier capabilities, and maintenance support strategies.
  • Foster collaboration across global or multi-site teams, ensuring consistent test practices and knowledge sharing across facilities.
  • Champion a culture of problem-solving and continuous improvement, leading collaborative reviews of test yield, reliability trends, and equipment performance.
  • Oversee the performance management and development of test engineers and technicians, including goal setting, coaching, and performance evaluations to build a high-performing and engaged team.
  • Partner with production and planning teams to ensure test readiness aligns with production schedules, supporting on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with automation and software teams to drive integration between test systems, data collection tools, and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
  • Develop and monitor KPIs that measure test process performance, team productivity, and contribution to operational and quality goals.
  • Work closely with regulatory and compliance partners tomaintainadherence to relevant industry standards and certifications.
  • Promote proactive communication across departments toanticipatetest challenges, mitigate risks, and ensure readiness to meet customer delivery timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and test fixture design.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and processes (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) is desirable.
  • Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering(Preferred).

Skills:

  • Proficiencyin programming languages such as LabVIEW, Python, or C/C++.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
