We are seeking a highly skilled contract Product Design Prototyper for a global social media company. The ideal candidate will have experience in Unity and C# development, with a focus on building experiential prototypes for AR/VR headsets.The main function of a Prototyper is to research, design, and create prototypes in required areas including augmented and virtual reality. A typical prototype is responsible for building and enhancing prototyping platforms in partnership with other prototypers and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Explore different input capabilities for AR glasses using Unity and C#.
  • Develop high-quality prototypes to explore various types of input and interactions.
  • Collaborate across multiple teams to inform hardware, API, and experiential requirements.
  • Guide other teams to ensure best practices and coherence of interactions.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in Unity and C# development.
  • Strong understanding of linear algebra.
  • Portfolio showcasing experiences developed for AR/VR platforms.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to visualize in 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design.
  • Previous experience using the computer to create layouts and generate new images.
  • Proven problem-solving experience and experience overcoming challenges.
Education/Experience:
  • 5-7 years of experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related required.
