Location/Division Specific Information:

Using highly specific and thoroughly validated assays with a wide dynamic range, Olink’s technology overcomes traditional limitations in protein analysis and supports deeper insights into human biology and disease. 

Job Description

This position is the Antibody Discovery and Characterization team within our Affinity department, RnD at Olink. In this role, you will be part of a team of 7 committed scientists and engineers who are focused on antibody development and protein characterization, supporting the continued growth of Proximity Extension Assay based products. 

You will participate in research and early product development, in a culture of creativity and inclusion. The position is focused on the characterization and analysis of affinity proteins and with hands-on wet-lab work.  

We are looking for a team player who can continue to grow our Antibody Discovery and Characterization team, ensuring we continue to develop our products with desired antibodies and antigens. 

A Day in the Life

  • Plan and perform laboratory work in accordance with set project plans and work schedules, with active collaboration and communication with the team.  

  • Evaluate, report and document results from the laboratory work. 

  • Actively participate in the development of the group's and department's activities and participate in improvement projects. 

  • Investigate and solve arising problems within the area. 

  • Comply with company policy, instructions and routines. 

Qualifications/Skills 

  • University degree in Biotechnology, Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or similar (Advanced Degree preferred). 

  • Documented lab experience in a biochemistry/biology setting.  

  • Experience from protein characterization methods such as mass spectrometry, binding kinetics using SPR and sandwich ELISA is advantageous.  

  • Scientific understanding of the field of proteomics and protein sciences. 

  • Data analysis tools e.g. R/Python, including essential statistics and experimental design. 

  • Strong communication and writing skills.
