Job Description

Allied Universal Enhanced Protection Services is a leading global security services provider and innovator, specializing in executive protection services for corporations. Duties & Qualifications:

Allied Universal Enhanced Protection Services is seeking a results-driven, highly motivated Protective Intelligence Analyst to support our client.  As a Protective Intelligence Analyst, you will use open-source material to find, research, and assess information that could indicate a potential concern to the client, its employees, and its interests. You will create detailed reports of incidents using internal incident management reporting systems and assist in the response to larger incidents that impact the client and develop protocols and practices to drive efficiency and to manage crises.

The Protective Intelligence Analyst will help to continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop best in class programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

To be successful in this role applicants must possess the ability to interact with all levels of corporation management, liaison internally and externally with a multitude of other departments and personnel. Strong oral communication and representational skills are required.  Plans and implements intelligence reporting processes with little or no supervision, at times under stressful conditions.

  • Work in a Global Security Operations Center, analyzing threats and vulnerabilities, reviewing Open Source (OSINT) and technology risk platforms to mitigate potential risks and threats to the client's corporate critical infrastructure (personnel, facilities and assets, business operations, and reputation).
  • Develop expertise on client operations and priorities in order to discern trends and warnings and provide an accurate understanding of present and future threats.
  • Provide proactive intelligence on potential threats
  • Maintain systematic and organized intelligence records and files.
  • Provides direct support for local and regional security operations.
  • Support global travel risk program, ensuring compliance with travel risk protocols, conducting risk assessments, and providing timely updates to travelers to ensure their safety.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support business continuity, including supporting annual plan maintenance, monitoring global events, and preparing reports to safeguard personnel and operations.
  • Provide protective intelligence support to security operations teams and executive protection management, upon request.
  • Communicates with various stakeholders regarding intelligence requirements.
  • Initiate, execute and maintain intelligence relationships inside and outside the organization
  • Safeguards and maintains highly sensitive and confidential information regarding the corporation.
  • Represents corporation in associations, partner organizations, and industry, as directed.
  • Assists in managing vendor technology platforms.
  • Compile, track, disseminate metrics including incident management, requests for intel information, etc.
  • Coordinates and communicates with client support staff and subsidiaries.
  • Maintains positive internal employee/management relations.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels of an organization and across diverse cultural and language barriers.
  • Strong client and results orientation.
  • Ability to quickly adapt as the external environment and organization evolves
  • Monitor and analyze global and regional threats, vulnerabilities, and emerging risks using OSINT and technology risk platforms.
  • Provide business impact-focused security analysis with emphasis on how global/regional threats and incidents affect the organization and its industry.
  • Deliver proactive intelligence and timely alerts to support the protection of corporate assets, personnel, and reputation.
  • Conduct risk assessments for global travel and ensure compliance with travel risk protocols.
  • Continuously update and communicate travel safety guidance to reflect evolving threat landscapes and ensure traveler awareness and preparedness.
  • Support business continuity planning by monitoring global events and contributing to annual plan updates.
  • Maintain organized and secure intelligence records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to fulfill intelligence requirements.
  • Represent the organization in industry associations and partner networks as directed.
  • Assist in administration of client communication, incident, and intelligence platforms and tools.
  • Provide direct support to local and regional security operations teams.
  • Safeguard sensitive and confidential information in accordance with corporate policies.

As a core function, the Protective Intelligence Analyst is responsible for drafting and disseminating Intelligence products to include, but not limited to Alerts, Domestic and International Intelligence Assessments, Situational Reports, Executive Briefs, and Be on the Lookout (BOLO) advisories.  These products are generally in response to requests or by the Protective Intelligence Analyst to alert of high-risk locations and active domestic or international critical incidents. All reports will be reviewed by the designated personnel prior to dissemination.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred and/or Military or Law Enforcement Intelligence Analyst experience
  • Formal intelligence training
  • Must be well versed in current technologies and open source search methodologies.
  • Ability to attend training events that fall outside normal work hours.
  • Competence with various Office Suites, include MS Office Suite and other database systems.
  • Must be willing to sign an NDA and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Must be able to communicate as a professional intelligence analyst, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to effectively and confidently disseminate information to individuals, groups, peers, clients, executives and stakeholders.
  • Must be able to quickly adapt to dynamic and stressful situations.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor during stressful situations.
