Safety Sensitive Position

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Set up safe work zones with proper equipment. 
  • Communicate with your crew to keep everyone safe.  
  • Control traffic flow.
  • Providing outstanding service and protection to customers  
  • Receive continuous development and guidance.
  • Protect the company’s employees, customers, and assets against losses, injuries, and accidents through enforcement of safe work practices.
  • Develop relationships with internal and external customers to achieve goals and new business opportunities.
  • Become a subject matter expert in work zone setup/design and professional flagging.
  • Setting up safe work zones with proper equipment 
  • Communicating with your crew to keep everyone safe.  
  • Controlling traffic flow
  • Providing outstanding service and protection to customers  
  • Receiving continuous development and guidance
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Two years experience in an outdoor labor setting, i.e., Traffic Control, Landscaping, Manufacturing, Construction, Utilities, Military, or Skilled Operator
  • 2+ Years Traffic Control Experience / ATSSA Certificate
  • TMA Driver
  • TCS Certification Preferred
  • Familiarity with a client-based schedule
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Steel Toed or Composite Toed Boots
  • Comfortable standing 8-12 hours a day
  • Ability to lift 50-60 lbs.
  • Accustomed to working in all types of weather, and in traffic.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening including a drug test.

Additional Information

Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid AZ Driver’s License with a motor vehicle report that meets company guidelines
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Good Communication skills.

Competitive Hourly Pay: $18.00
