An established proprietary trading organization in Woodridge, IL is expanding its engineering team as part of a large-scale technology growth initiative. The company develops highly performant trading systems and infrastructure and is seeking experienced C++ engineers who enjoy solving complex technical challenges involving low-latency processing, distributed systems, and large-scale performance optimization.
This is an opportunity to join a business that views engineering as a strategic advantage. Successful candidates will contribute to mission-critical trading technology, partner closely with technical stakeholders, and have significant influence over architecture and future platform development. The organization promotes modern engineering practices, encourages AI-assisted development workflows, and offers flexibility through a primarily remote working model. Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong C++ development experience
  • Experience building high-performance or low-latency systems
  • Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system design
  • Linux development experience
  • Experience troubleshooting and optimizing production systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively within engineering teams
