Business Development Manager - Landscaping - Base Salary to 100k/year - Aurora, CO

  • Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to acquire new commercial landscape maintenance clients, expand enhancement revenue, and drive growth across landscape maintenance, snow removal, and landscape construction services. This role will focus on new business development, contract sales, prospecting, proposal development, and selling services to commercial and institutional clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new commercial landscape maintenance contracts with commercial and institutional clients.
  • Prospect, develop, and close landscape enhancement projects with new and existing customers.
  • Manage the business development process from prospecting and lead generation through proposal development, sales presentations, contract negotiations, and closing.
  • Develop relationships with property managers, facility managers, facilities teams, executives, and other commercial decision-makers.
  • Conduct sales presentations and represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and association meetings.
  • Collaborate with operations and account management teams to coordinate new customer handoffs and service requirements.
  • Use bidding, estimating, and measuring software to develop proposals for landscape maintenance, enhancements, snow removal, and landscape construction services.
  • Maintain sales pipeline activity, prospect information, customer data, and sales records within the CRM.
  • Participate in marketing campaigns, industry associations, and committees supporting commercial landscape maintenance, snow removal, and construction services.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings and monthly planning sessions with project and construction management teams.
  • Support account management and operations teams with sales-related activities.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of business development experience in landscape maintenance, facility services, or a related field.
