MAJOR DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Updates and rolls forward report templates to ensure quarterly files are accurate and imported, that user access is correct, and assists with input and output validation.

• Maintains the forecasting software to ensure GLs are added to the software and to any relevant reports. Also includes user maintenance to add, remove, or change users as requested.

• Takes ownership of gathering support for shareholder transactions and communicates promptly and professionally with shareholders, executive team members, and internal and external stakeholders. Records transactions in shareholder system promptly and accurately.

• Assists with the creation, validation, and distribution of financial reports.

• Supports various tax processes as needed including gathering, preparing, and tracking tax related documentation.

• Assists with fulfilling audit requests for both internal and external auditors as directed.

• Performs ad hoc tasks and projects assigned by senior management.

• Complies with all banking laws and regulations, and maintains the confidentiality of bank and customer information.

REQUIREMENTS/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance

• 5-10 years accounting or finance experience

• 3+ years budgeting/forecasting software experience

• 3+ years' experience working in banking

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

• Good organizational skills and the ability to meet challenges with resourcefulness

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff, both verbally, and in writing

• Ability to work independently and to exercise prudent judgment, within deadlines and time-sensitive constraints, as well as within a team environment

• Dependable with the ability to adapt easily

• Good interpersonal skills

• Ability to work within and foster a good team environment

• Software: Advanced Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Experience using Report Writing programs; Budgeting and Planning software; Adobe Acrobat; Banking core application
