We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh as a qualified Property Risk Consultant for our US Property Risk Consulting team based in the U.S. while it is preferred to be near one of our offices, it is not a requirement of this role. Risk Consultants advise client companies on risk management strategies, use data to help them to optimize their risk profiles, and recommend plans to monitor and mitigate their risk exposure. A Senior Risk Consulting Engagement Lead is a recognized subject matter expert, making an impact as an influential individual contributor by managing large-scale strategic projects, coaching team members and solving complex problems.
We will count on you to:
  • Advise and direct colleagues on the research and analysis needs for complex client projects and instruct them in data collection to offer best-in-class guidance to clients
  • Drive the expansion of client relationships for large projects and harness opportunities to gain new work and clients
  • Leverage expert knowledge of industry and best practices to advise clients on complex project approaches, methodologies and tools to provide superior results
  • Leverage extensive experience to predict future roadblocks in client projects and formulate strategic action plans to prevent them
  • Review client deliverables and provide advanced recommendations and analysis to support the project
  • Lead highly specialized and/or unique projects for clients to provide exceptional results

What you need to have:
  • Minimum of 8+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Demonstrated experience in risk consulting, with a focus on property risk or related areas
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale strategic projects and coach team members
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships

  • Experience specifically in property risk consulting within insurance, brokerage or related industries
  • Advanced degree in engineering, risk management, finance, or a related discipline
  • Professional designations or certifications in risk management, engineering, or related fields; the following locations are preferred but not required: Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Houston

All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $139,800 to $297,900.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
