Job description

We are a growing family owned property management company that manages small multifamily and single family homes. The core values we look for are: Faith, Loyalty, Humble, Hungry, and Smart. A very proactive person willing to tackle the problems and solve them on their own that does not need to be managed. Also a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Manager to join our team.


We manage Local Individual Property Owners around DFW, and most within a 45 minute radius of our office in Johnson County. In this role, you will work with the Operations Property Manager, Maintenance Coordinator, and Broker in the daily operations of our residential properties, ensuring a high level of service for our tenants while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent phone etiquette, and a passion for real estate management. Pay: Based on experience $42,000- $46,000 base salary Year 1, plus leasing commissions ($6K-$10K Year 1 and higher Year 2)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the property, including tenant relations and maintenance requests.
  • Negotiate lease agreements and renewals with prospective tenants.
  • Ensure compliance with Section 8 regulations and other housing laws.
  • Handle conflict management effectively to resolve tenant issues and disputes.
  • Maintain accurate records through data entry and administrative tasks using Yardi or similar property management software.
  • Conduct property inspections and assist in upselling available units to prospective tenants.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through effective communication and phone etiquette.
  • Collaborate with maintenance Coordinator to ensure timely resolution of repairs and upkeep of the properties.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Real Estate Property Management 2 Years Minimum.
  • Texas Real Estate License Active
  • Familiarity with Appfolio property management software or similar property management systems is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation skills with an understanding of relevant laws governing rental properties.
  • Excellent conflict management abilities to handle tenant concerns professionally.
  • Proficient in data entry and administrative tasks with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively over the phone and in person.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing outstanding service.
