Property Maintenance Technician
Central Kentucky | Full-Time | Locally Owned Property Management Company
A well-established, locally owned property management company is seeking an experienced Property Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This position services multiple residential and commercial properties throughout Central Kentucky. We're looking for a dependable, self-motivated professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Pay:
Competitive pay based on experience. Additional compensation available for applicable certifications and licenses.
Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs at multiple properties
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, flooring, doors, windows, and appliances
  • Complete preventative maintenance and respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Prepare vacant units for new tenants, including repairs and punch list completion
  • Maintain grounds and common areas as needed
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards
  • Communicate professionally with tenants, vendors, and management
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of property maintenance or general maintenance experience required
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs
  • HVAC, electrical, plumbing, EPA, or other trade certifications are a plus and may qualify for higher pay
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across various properties
  • Must be dependable, organized, and customer-service oriented
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work including bending, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
