Property Maintenance Worker

JAR Associates seeks a Property Maintenance Worker in a full-time position. The Property Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing general maintenance procedures on various properties and must have the ability to work safely and responsibly, a positive attitude, and willingness to be a supportive team member.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform general landscaping duties which include: weed removal/bed maintenance, shrub pruning, and seasonal plantings/maintenance.
  • Perform snow removal duties, which may include; plowing, shoveling, and sanding.
  • Operate landscape maintenance equipment, mowers, trimmers, and blowers in a safe, responsible, and efficient manner.
  • Maintain and repair building structures and fixtures.
  • Painting interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Remove trash and other items when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • General landscaping experience preferred.
  • Snow removal experience is highly desired.
  • Ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Ability to speak English.
  • Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs, and installing and repairing roofing are a plus.
