Requirements
What You'll Do
As a Property Inspector, you'll play a key role in maintaining the quality and presentation of our vacation homes.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Traveling between assigned properties to conduct inspections and ensure homes meet Travel Life's high standards
  • Performing detailed inspections to verify cleaning quality, proper staging, and overall readiness for guest arrivals
  • Checking appliances, electronics, and home systems to ensure everything is functioning properly
  • Completing minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or addressing small issues when possible
  • Identifying and reporting larger maintenance concerns to the appropriate team for prompt resolution
  • Preparing homes for guest and homeowner arrivals with final walkthroughs and quality checks
  • Managing inventory including linens, toiletries, and essential supplies
  • Staging homes to create a welcoming and polished guest experience
  • Delivering requested items to guests during their stay when needed
  • Maintaining accurate inspection records and communicating updates to the operations team
  • Collaborating with cleaning and maintenance teams to ensure smooth property turnovers
  • Supporting additional operational needs as assigned

What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in hospitality, property management, housekeeping inspection, or a related field preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair tasks
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

Physical Requirements
This role requires an active work environment. Candidates should be able to:
  • Bend, kneel, squat, and reach during property inspections
  • Lift and carry items up to 50 lbs when delivering supplies or moving small furniture items
  • Walk and stand for extended periods during inspections
  • Climb stairs and ladders when accessing various areas of homes
  • Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions along the Emerald Coast

Schedule
  • 5-day work week
  • Typical hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Weekend availability required
  • Occasional on-call shifts may be needed
