Summary of Responsibilities:
The general manager leads all aspects of property performance, including operations, financial results, and resident experience. This role sets the tone for the on-site team, supports a strong and collaborative culture, and ensures the property is well cared for and performing at a high level. This role brings a balanced focus on people, operations, and results in creating an environment where residents feel at home and associates are supported in doing their best work. 

Primary Responsibilities and Objectives:
• Recruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing team across leasing and maintenance
• Provide clear direction, regular feedback, and ongoing coaching
• Foster a culture grounded in accountability, respect, and service
• Support associate engagement, growth, and retention
• Oversee daily operations to ensure consistency, organization, and alignment with company practices
• Maintain the physical condition and overall presentation of the property
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal requirements, including Fair Housing standards
• Monitor service request completion to support timely and thorough follow-through
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting
• Track income, expenses, and occupancy to support performance goals
• Identify opportunities to improve revenue and manage costs responsibly
• Use data and reporting tools to guide decision-making
• Guide leasing efforts to support occupancy and revenue goals
• Ensure prospective residents receive a thoughtful and consistent experience
• Review market conditions and adjust strategies as needed
• Partner with marketing resources to support visibility and positioning
• Support a responsive and respectful experience for residents
• Address concerns with care, clarity, and timely follow-up
• Encourage engagement initiatives that bring people together at the property
• Monitor feedback and identify opportunities for improvement
• Manage relationships with suppliers to support quality and efficiency
• Oversee property improvements and long-term asset care
• Ensure work is completed to standard and aligned with budget expectations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, hospitality, or a related field, preferred, not required
• Seven or more years of property management experience – including a minimum of five years at a property manager level
• At least three years of experience leading large teams (20+ associates)
• Experience managing large scale (500+ unit) Luxury, High-Rise, Class A properties
• Advanced or expert understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and performance metrics
• Comfortable using property management systems such as Yardi, Entrata, or RealPage

Scheduling:
• Required to maintain a regular schedule, which may include working outside business hours,
