Job description
Trademark Property Company, based in Fort Worth, Texas, is a full-service real estate firm specializing in the development, investment, and management of mixed-use, retail, multifamily, and office properties.
We aren't just about square footage or leasing rates. We are in the business of placemaking and turning ordinary spaces into community hubs-places where people want to be, connect, and experience something special.
Our business is focused on adding value to assets, but our passion is adding value to communities. We don't just manage properties; we curate experiences. If you want a career that is as dynamic and vibrant as the places we create, you're looking in the right place.
We aim for our culture to truly reflect our purpose and guiding principles. Our Purpose is to be extraordinary stewards, enhance communities and enrich lives. Our guiding principles:
- Have Vision
- Engage People
- Make a Difference
- Create Value
- Build Partnerships
Do you like what you're reading? Nice, but enough about us, let's talk about you. Are You...
- Passionate: You thrive on creating value for everyone involved, from the stakeholders to the Sunday afternoon shoppers.
- A Partner: You cultivate relationships based on integrity and respect because you know we succeed together.
- Growth-Minded: You see challenges as opportunities to evolve and failure as data for improvement.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic, hospitality-driven Retail Experience & Place Activation Manager to serve as our on-site lead, bringing our retail brand and destination vision to life. In this role, you will be the absolute catalyst for the property, translating marketing and brand strategies into tangible, memorable on-site interactions that foster community, elevate guest satisfaction, and maximize asset performance. If you are a high-energy, versatile self-starter who excels at balancing creative event curation with meticulous operational and budget management, this role offers the perfect platform to showcase your talents and shape a premier destination.
- Work Model: Full-time, fully on-site at the property management office
- Reports To: General Manager
What You'll Do
1. Strategy, Planning & Marketing Execution
- Campaign Deployment: Execute approved asset-level marketing strategies, campaigns, and lifestyle initiatives in perfect alignment with corporate goals.
- Fiscal Support: Direct the field execution of the property's annual plan and approved operating budget.
- Calendar Management: Oversee and maintain local property calendars to ensure complete synchronization with campaign timing and overall on-site readiness.
- Omnichannel Coordination: Coordinate the on-site execution of creative, digital, and traditional marketing channels in close partnership with Central Marketing and specialized external vendors.
2. Experiential Events & Place Activation
- Production Excellence: Plan, manage, and flawlessly execute community events, seasonal programming, destination activations, and merchant grand openings.
- Logistics & Compliance: Supervise third-party vendors, manage operational timelines, secure required municipal permits, and lead on-site logistics to ensure polished execution.
- Performance Partnerships: Partner side-by-side with tenants and property management team members to deliver meaningful, experiential moments that drive customer traffic and merchant sales.
- Flexible Coverage: Provide dedicated "boots on the ground" support across retail, mixed-use, and destination programming, including required evenings and weekends.
3. Customer, Tenant & Community Engagement
- Journey Enhancement: Deliver high-quality, customer-facing experiences, activations, and local communications that reinforce destination positioning.
- Hospitality Presence: Serve as a highly visible on-site presence during key traffic moments, acting as a direct conduit for hospitality, community, and placement standards.
- Feedback Collection: Gather, analyze, and share real-time customer feedback and operational insights to inform continuous experience enhancements.
- Merchant Enablement: Serve as the primary on-site partner to tenants, fostering relationships with retailers, community partners, and local organizations to enable merchant participation in approved destination moments.
4. Brand Standards, Social Media & Content Execution
- Integrity Guardrails: Ensure 100% of on-site experiences, events, temporary signage, and printed collateral comply strictly with approved corporate brand and place standards.
- Risk Escalation: Identify and flag operational risks, brand deviations, or unique local sensitivities, escalating them immediately to leadership for strategic guidance.
- Content Ideation: Collaborate with and approve our third-party agency's local content calendars by capturing and publishing authentic, on-site content reflecting live events, tenant highlights, and day-to-day property experiences.
- Insight Sharing: Ensure all local social media outputs reinforce place positioning while sharing digital insights and content learnings to optimize ongoing planning.
5. Operational, Budgetary & PR Management
- Fiscal Administration: Create and manage the asset-level budget in close consultation with Property Marketing, meticulously tracking event-related expenses and driving budget forecasting.
- Invoice Processing: Manage the systematic routing and processing of approved vendor invoices related to all property experiences.
- Public Relations Support: Partner with the property-level PR agency and Corporate Communications teams to deliver approved press releases, maintain corporate messaging consistency, and execute on-site media moments.
- Silo Integration: Act as a critical two-way conduit between on-site teams and Central Marketing, feeding ground-level qualitative insights, successes, and recommendations upward to optimize corporate strategies.
