Job description

Junior Reviewer (Property Condition Reports)
Colorado Springs, CO $22.00 - $32.00 per hour Hourly | Full-Time
Tribal One is seeking a Junior Reviewer to support our growing Facility Condition Assessment and Asset Management team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in construction, building maintenance, or property management who is interested in transitioning into steady, computer-based project work. If you are detail-oriented and eager to work within a professional services environment, we encourage you to apply.
This position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule with a mix of in-office collaboration and remote work.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Junior Reviewer plays a key role in the quality control process for property condition assessment (PCA) reports. Inspectors gather field data, and you will perform the initial technical and editorial review of their reports before final review and submission to clients. Your work will be supervised and guided by a Professional Engineer (PE) and senior staff.
The ideal candidate is one who understands building systems and/or multifamily property operations, and wants to apply that knowledge in a structured, analytical, and documentation-focused environment.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A JUNIOR REVIEWER
As a Junior Reviewer, your primary responsibility will be reviewing draft reports prepared by field inspectors for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
You will:
โ€ข Review inspection reports for clarity, organization, and adherence to company standards
โ€ข Verify property condition observations, quantities, and supporting documentation
โ€ข Check that deficiencies, repairs, and replacement recommendations are properly described and supported
โ€ข Ensure alignment with internal templates, guidelines, and industry formats
โ€ข Perform basic validation of building systems descriptions (structural, mechanical, site, etc.)
โ€ข Edit reports for grammar, formatting, and consistency
โ€ข Coordinate with inspectors and project staff to resolve missing or unclear information
โ€ข Track revisions and maintain organized digital files and documentation
โ€ข Assist with quality control workflows, internal checklists, and process improvements
When workload allows, you may also support:
โ€ข Data entry and report assembly
โ€ข Internal training and cross-functional project support
โ€ข Additional assignments based on project needs in a dynamic, project-driven environment
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
โ€ข 1-3 years of experience in construction, building maintenance, facilities management, property management, physical inspections, or quality control.
โ€ข Basic understanding of building systems and components (roofing, HVAC, structure, interiors, site)
โ€ข Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, file management, and document editing
โ€ข Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
โ€ข Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a structured workflow
โ€ข Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
โ€ข Experience reviewing technical reports, construction documents, or inspection data
โ€ข Familiarity with property condition assessments (PCA) or similar reporting processes
โ€ข Exposure to ASTM E2018-08 "Standard Guide for Property Condition Assessments: Baseline Property Condition Assessment Process"
WORK ENVIRONMENT
โ€ข Hybrid work schedule (combination of in-office and remote work)
โ€ข Computer-based work with minimal to no travel required
โ€ข Collaborative team environment with guidance from engineers and senior reviewers
โ€ข Flexible, project-based workflow with consistent workload
KEY ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS
โ€ข Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality deliverables
โ€ข Self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a team
โ€ข Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability
โ€ข Reliable, organized, and adaptable to evolving project needs
โ€ข Ability to look ahead and manage timelines
WHY JOIN US?
โ€ข Competitive hourly pay ($22-$32/hour, depending on experience)
โ€ข Health Insurance, 401K match, Paid Time Off
โ€ข Flexible hybrid schedule
โ€ข Stable, consistent work with a great team and company culture
