Job description

At The Ben, West Palm Beach, every corner tells a story, inspired by the legacy of Byrd "Birdie" Dewey and her iconic Ben Trovato estate. That spirit of creativity, elegance, and individuality carries through everything we do, shaping a hospitality experience that feels Exactly Like Nothing Else. From The Ben to its most intimate gathering spaces, every detail is designed to create meaningful moments for every guest who walks through our doors.

At Proper Grit, tucked within The Ben, guests are welcomed into a whisky and supper club inspired experience where timeless tradition meets modern sophistication. With its warm ambiance, curated spirits, and elevated dining atmosphere, Proper Grit is more than a restaurant. It is a destination for connection, conversation, and unforgettable evenings in the heart of West Palm Beach.

As a Bartender at Proper Grit, you are at the center of that experience. You craft thoughtfully balanced cocktails, guide guests through curated whisky selections, and create moments of genuine hospitality at the bar. With every pour, recommendation, and interaction, you bring knowledge, presence, and personality to an environment built on refinement and storytelling.

The Bartender position is about more than mixing drinks. It is about understanding flavor, anticipating guest preferences, and creating an atmosphere where every visit feels intentional and memorable.
