Job description

Job Title: Propane Driver and Service Tech
Position Objective: Deliver propane to customers following safety procedures, in addition will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining propane equipment for customers. This employee will maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the cooperative and a favorable image of the cooperative.
Qualifications: Candidate must have Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT endorsement, along with strong work ethic and be passionate about providing great customer service. Attention to detail must be a strong attribute. Strong verbal and written communication skills are important.
Responsibilities:
  • Deliveries to customers driving bobtail truck
  • Basic housekeeping, including but not limited to, maintaining clean vehicles, worksite and facility
  • The Service Tech will be on call 24-7 for after-hours emergencies and deliveries
  • Provide emergency response and system installation and testing
  • Maintain inventory and supplies needed for installations
  • Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads propane and propane equipment to and from specified locations
  • Prepares and maintains records in accordance with regulations and company policy
  • Operates truck in accordance to established safety procedures
  • Physically able to list 50 lbs and able to work in all weather conditions.
  • Provide excellent customer service by supplying service/safety information and answering customer questions
  • Perform other duties as needed
