Job description

First Call Propane, an AWG Company...a leading provider of industrial, medical, and specialty gases, is seeking a Propane Bobtail Delivery Driver to join our team in Roosevelt, UT. A CDL-B with Hazmat, Tanker and Airbrake endorsements is a requirements for this role.

Duties:

  • Provide propane delivery service to residential and commercial customers using a bobtail truck on local route
  • Install residential/commercial above ground and below ground propane tanks
  • Perform propane related service work
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly working environment
  • Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
  • Ensures vehicles are appropriately placarded and/or labeled
  • Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain electronic trip-logs
  • Ensures appropriate preparation/completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • CDL Class B license with Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brakes

  • Successful completion of DOT pre-employment drug-screen and physical, and company administered road test
  • Delivery experience a plus
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Clean driving record 3+ years
  • Ability to lift 75-100 pounds
  • Good customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be comfortable using computers
