Job description

Now Hiring: Experienced Prop Fabricator & Finisher

We are seeking a highly skilled Prop Fabricator & Finisher to join our creative team. This position is ideal for a hands-on artist who excels at building, detailing, and finishing high-quality props for themed environments, displays, or productions. Your application must include resume and portfolio.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proficient with HVLP spray systems
  • Strong airbrushing skills
  • End-to-end prop making experience
  • Mold making (silicone, urethane, and related materials)
  • Sculpting in a variety of mediums
  • Fiberglass fabrication and repair
  • Excellent surface prep, finishing, and detailing abilities
  • Ability to work from drawings, references, and physical samples

Beneficial / Bonus Skills

  • Figure finishing (wax statues, characters, and scenic elements)
  • Realistic painting techniques, including aging and weathering
  • 3D printing (operation, cleanup, and finishing)
  • 3D modeling experience
  • Print production knowledge
  • Vinyl application (graphics, wraps, decals)
  • Makeup application
  • Hair punching
  • Body casting
  • Smooth-On products.

Other Requirements:

  • Schedule must be flexible to accommodate the business needs. Occasional travel will be required.
  • Central Florida area applicants only
  • Available for interview and skills testing
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours periods
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
