Duties:

  • Perform data entry
  • Scan and file paper documents
  • Prepares records for archiving
  • Ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures regarding office services, College protocols, and administrative requirements.
  • Answering phones, opening and routing mail, creating correspondence, flyers, letters syllabi, tests, and/or reports, proofing and editing documents.
  • Acting as the initial point of contact for office, directing calls and walk-ins to appropriate staff or departments.
  • Managing and maintaining schedules and calendars.
  • Ordering and maintaining supplies through various vendors.
  • Maintains manual and/or automated financial, accounting, personnel, and other administrative and management files and records and ensuring confidentiality where appropriate.
  • Attending meetings, taking notes and distributing information as appropriate.
  • Performing calculations and data entry.
  • Managing web page(s) administrative area


Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of progressively responsible experience providing office administrative support involving customer service.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Appropriate use of spelling, grammar, writing styles and formats.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
  • Ability to organize work and timely perform assignments.
