Job description

Automation Vision Controls Engineer - Up to $105K annually DOE!
This position is a direct hire opportunity!
Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Automation Vision Controls Engineer for our manufacturing client to start immediately up to $105K annually DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, configure, and program vision systems to support object detection, alignment, and error-proofing within automation cells.
  • Lead the integration and optimization of vision-guided robotic pick-and-place applications to improve reliability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and fine-tune robotic, PLC, PC, NC, and CNC control systems to support uptime and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, and quality teams to validate systems and meet project deadlines.
  • Support the design, development, and implementation of advanced control systems for automated equipment and industrial processes.
  • Provide technical guidance to ensure successful equipment deployment and smooth transitions into production.
  • Evaluate equipment and process opportunities for improvement, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and process capability.
  • Support new product launches from quote through production to help ensure long-term success.
  • Assist with root cause analysis, corrective actions, DOE, FMEA, risk analysis, and data-driven process improvements.
  • Partner with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to communicate project expectations, implementation plans, and status updates.
  • Lead or support lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and Capex initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Assist with maintenance of tooling and machinery, including routine maintenance activities as needed.
  • Oversee assigned engineering projects to ensure timing, cost, and performance goals are met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule/Shift Details: Day shift
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of machine vision, robotic integration, and automation control systems.
  • Advanced proficiency with vision systems.
  • Experience with controls, PLC programming, and process automation preferred.
  • 2D CAD proficiency required; 3D CAD experience preferred.
  • Project management experience required.
  • Experience in industrial or automotive manufacturing preferred.
  • Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex automation projects.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and follow-up skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed based on workload demands.
