Are you outgoing, creative, organized, and passionate about creating memorable experiences? We are looking for an Event Joy Creator to help bring our bakery into the community and create meaningful connections with our guests.
The Event Joy Creator is responsible for identifying, planning, coordinating, and supporting events and community opportunities that drive bakery awareness, increase sales, and create a memorable guest experience.
This role is perfect for someone who loves meeting new people, building relationships, thinking outside the box, and bringing energy and excitement to every event.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify local events, businesses, schools, organizations, and community opportunities that can generate awareness and sales for the bakery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, schools, community organizations, and event coordinators.
  • Coordinate and execute bakery events, pop-ups, fundraisers, tastings, and community partnerships.
  • Represent the bakery professionally and enthusiastically at off-site events.
  • Create a welcoming and memorable experience for guests at every event.
  • Partner with the Bakery Manager to develop event strategies that support sales and revenue goals.
  • Assist with event planning, including scheduling, product needs, supplies, transportation, setup, and breakdown.
  • Promote bakery products, promotions, Bundtastic Rewards, catering, and other sales opportunities.
  • Follow up with businesses and event contacts to develop repeat business and future opportunities.
  • Track event results, leads, sales opportunities, and follow-up activities.
  • Look for creative ways to increase brand awareness and bring new guests into the bakery.
  • Support in-bakery events and special promotions as needed.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and represent the bakery and brand standards at all times.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and operational standards.
What We're Looking For
  • Friendly, outgoing, and energetic personality.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Comfortable speaking with businesses, community leaders, and large groups of people.
  • Creative thinker who enjoys finding new opportunities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends for events.
  • Previous sales, marketing, event planning, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to local events as needed.
Success in This Role Looks Like
  • Consistently identifying new event and community opportunities.
  • Building strong relationships that lead to repeat business.
  • Increasing bakery awareness within the local community.
  • Generating new sales opportunities and catering/event business.
  • Creating events that leave guests excited to return.
  • Following through on every lead and opportunity.
  • Bringing positive energy, creativity, and the JOY to every interaction.
