A promotional tour is a series of events or appearances planned to market or advertise a product, service, brand, or individual. These tours often involve traveling to multiple locations to engage with audiences, generate publicity, and boost sales or awareness. Promotional tours can include concerts, media interviews, product demonstrations, or meet-and-greets. The main goal is to reach a wide audience and create excitement around what is being promoted.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a promotional tour manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Promotional Tour Manager, you need strong organizational abilities, event planning expertise, and experience in marketing or public relations, often backed by a relevant degree. Familiarity with CRM systems, event management software, and logistics platforms is typically required.
