Starting Pay :$19.91 Hourly
Position Description:
Builds community awareness and partnerships resulting in increased donations to Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates donation acquisition through Community Donation Drives from prospecting, sales, closing implementation, and acknowledgment. Tracks all metrics and contacts.
  • Prepares weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports by compiling data.
  • Reviews quarterly benchmarking of all goals with the Manager of Donor Services.
  • Maintains database by entering, verifying, and updating community partners information.
  • Manages department invoices, creates expense reports and other accounting documents.
  • Cultivates partnerships in the community for GCNA Donation Drives, with a focus on corporations, schools, youth groups, faith communities, neighborhood associations and sports teams.
  • Responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and participating at Donation Drives events in order to promote GCNA programs throughout the community.
  • Works closely with GCNA's Transportation department on scheduling resources for Donation Drives. Works closely with Retail to acquire additional team members to attend donation drive events (as needed).
  • Works closely with GCNA's Marketing department to develop and continually improve Donation Drives collateral. Works with Goodwill International and other Goodwill locations nationally in order to learn Donation Drive best practices and collateral ideas.
  • Performs various administrative tasks including but not limited to answering phone calls, making follow-up calls, greeting clients and vendors, mailings, setting up appointments, setting up for promotional events, delivering marketing materials, etc.
  • Creates and maintains various department reports, prepares presentations, and collaborates with various team members and departments.
  • Models Goodwill Core Values - Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):
  • Associates Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 1-2 years of project management, event planning or marketing experience
  • Excellent internet navigation required
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Valid drivers' license and clean MVR
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position
  • Ability to speak and read English proficiently
