Job description


JOB SUMMARY

The Driver facilitates clients' transportation to and from necessary appointments at one of Promises Behavioral Health Residential Program Facilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Transports clients per supervisor's directives (for court, ancillary services, etc.)
  • Follows emergency procedures exactly to secure safety and welfare of clients.
  • Notifies appropriate Clinical staff member or Executive Director of any client behavior that could create a risk to the clients’ wellbeing or treatment success.
  • Completes and submits are necessary forms and documentation.
  • Serves as back-up for residential assistances as needed.
  • Assists with set-up and take-down for all special events and functions.
  • Pick up mail daily.
  • Provides tours for aftercare on weekend.
  • Transports clients to special meetings when needed.
  • Schedule includes being available during on-call schedule.

JOB QUALIFICAITONS

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Class F endorsement (or willing to obtain).
  • Clear driving record.
  • Current automobile insurance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excels working within a team.
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification is required for this position. If not CPR/First Aid certified at time of hire, certification must be obtained within the state mandated time frame after first day of employment.
