Job description

Medicus has partnered with a hospital in San Antonio, Texas, that has a contract assignment for a Gastroenterologist to assist their team.


Assignment Overview:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30a-4p or 8a-4:30p
  • Call shifts required
  • Setting: Inpatient, outpatient, and OR
  • Outpatient Volume: 10 procedures per day
  • Inpatient Volume: 1-10 procedures and 5-10 consults per day
  • Procedures: Colonoscopies (diagnostic, biopsy, bleeding control, polyp removal, EMR) and EGD with biopsy, dilation, bleeding control, or band ligation
  • Advanced GI procedures are not required
  • EMR: CPRS
  • Any active, unrestricted U.S. medical license accepted
  • Must be board-certified or board-eligible
  • Paid travel & expenses
