Assistant Project Manager - Roofing Construction
Position Overview
The Assistant Project Manager in Roofing Construction will support the project management team in overseeing and executing roofing projects from inception to completion. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, and closing roofing construction projects
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Manage submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and change orders effectively
  • Monitor project progress and prepare reports for management
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
  • Assist in budget management and cost control measures
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to keep them informed of project status and developments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in roofing construction or related field
  • Experience as an Assistant Project Manager or similar role in construction
