Location: Fort Detrick, MD

Position Summary

Charles F. Day & Associates, LLC (CFDay) is seeking a Program Manager / Contractor Task Manager to support an anticipated U.S. Army contract providing Materiel Fielding and Medical Liaison Support Services. The Program Manager will serve as the primary point of contact with the Government and be responsible for the overall management, coordination, quality, and performance of contract activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary interface with the Government Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
  • Direct and manage contractor personnel supporting the contract.
  • Monitor contract performance, schedules, staffing, and deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements and quality standards.
  • Coordinate project activities with Government stakeholders.
  • Prepare required reports and briefings.
  • Identify and resolve performance issues.
  • Support continuous process improvement throughout contract performance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of program or project management experience.
  • Experience managing Federal Government or DoD contracts.
  • Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting the U.S. Army.
  • Experience managing logistics or medical materiel support contracts.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Active Secret security clearance.
