Job description

Position Overview:
The Sr. Project Manager will manage enterprise-wide business projects using established project methodologies. The role will involve planning, execution, and finalization of projects according to strict deadlines and within approved budgets. The Sr. Project Manager will coordinate the efforts of internal team members and external partners in order to deliver projects according to plan.
Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the project planning activities and manage the execution of projects according to plan.
  • Manage relationships with project stakeholders, including internal and external partners, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations on all project requirements and deliverables.
  • Proactively identify changes in work scope and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken with internal and external stakeholders to reassess and amend the scope of work requirements, budget, and timeline.
  • Analyze risk, establish contingency plans, and identify trigger events and responsibilities for initiating mitigating action.
  • Ensure adherence to HSUSA's Project Management policies and specifically follow the HSUSA process for managing projects and required deliverables. Ensure documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately. - Relationship Management
  • Coach to clarify assignments and deliverables to project team; review quality of work and manage integration of team members' work; provide performance input to project team members' functional management.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve communication and streamline processes.
  • Look to effect positive changes in project management processes through personal effort and influence within team/unit.
  • Keep track of lessons learned and share those lessons with team members as appropriate.
  • Work closely with and utilize tools and reporting as designed by the Finance, Planning and Analysis team.
  • Track scope and priority changes and their impact on the cost/timeframe of the project delivery.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent experience required.
  • 10+ years of proven record of successfully applying project management controls to manage large.
  • scale global initiatives through all phases of its life cycle. This should include managing resources across multiple functions in order to meet project goals.
  • Outstanding presentation, communication, and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated leadership of multidiscipline, high-performance work teams/groups
  • Effective at working directly with senior leadership as well as front-line staff
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others not under direct supervision.
  • Self-motivated, strong attention to detail, and results driven.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented climate; across functional areas and multiple locations.
  • JIRA or equivalent project management software, MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, etc.)
  • Project Experience in:
    • IT & Financial Management
    • ERP Application Management
    • Experience working in both Waterfall and Agile environments.
    • Business Development & Strategy
    • PMP certification a plus
