Position Summary

His Glory is seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial, and mission‑driven Director of Strategic Growth & Business Development to work directly with executive leadership in driving the organization’s next phase of growth. This high‑impact leadership role is responsible for identifying strategic opportunities, developing key partnerships, leading cross‑functional initiatives, and ensuring executive priorities are successfully executed across the organization. The ideal candidate is a visionary thinker and an exceptional executor—someone who enjoys transforming ideas into measurable results while helping leadership expand the ministry’s reach, operational excellence, and long‑term sustainability. This individual will serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the CEO while collaborating closely with department leaders to ensure alignment, accountability, and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Growth & Executive Initiatives
  • Partner directly with the CEO to identify and execute strategic priorities.
  • Translate executive vision into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead ministry‑wide strategic initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Conduct market research and evaluate opportunities for organizational growth.
  • Develop business cases and implementation plans for new initiatives.
  • Prepare executive reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations.
Business Development & Strategic Partnerships
  • Identify and cultivate new business, ministry, and nonprofit partnerships.
  • Develop relationships with sponsors, donors, vendors, corporate partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Represent His Glory at conferences, networking events, meetings, and strategic partnerships.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and collaborative initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the organization’s influence and reach.
New Revenue & Growth Opportunities
  • Research and recommend new revenue‑generating initiatives aligned with the ministry’s mission.
  • Collaborate with leadership on membership growth strategies, sponsorship development, digital products, events, e‑commerce, and other growth opportunities.
  • Evaluate potential partnerships, acquisitions, licensing opportunities, and strategic collaborations.
  • Monitor industry trends and recommend innovative approaches to ministry growth.
Strategic Project Leadership
  • Serve as the executive lead on high‑priority organizational initiatives, including:
    • New ministry initiatives
    • Media and broadcasting projects
    • Technology implementations

    • Membership programs
    • E‑commerce initiatives

Qualifications Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in business development, strategic planning, operations, executive leadership, consulting, project management, or organizational development.
  • Proven experience leading complex, cross‑functional projects.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic relationships.
  • Experience managing multiple high‑priority initiatives simultaneously.
