Position Overview

The Care Project is in search of a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team in Silver Springs, Nevada. This full-time role focuses on providing personalized care and rehabilitation to enhance patients’ mobility and overall quality of life. As a part of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in developing targeted treatment plans and engaging with patients to help them regain their physical capabilities.

Our practice is designed to provide a comprehensive approach to physical therapy, blending advanced techniques with a caring, hands-on philosophy. The team consists of dedicated professionals who prioritize patient outcomes, making a significant impact in the lives of individuals with diverse needs.

Work Environment

Located in Silver Springs, our facility spans approximately 5,000 square feet of modern medical space, representing a leading-edge sports medicine clinic. The working atmosphere is collaborative and patient-centered, featuring advanced therapeutic equipment and resources. The Physical Therapist will work onsite with two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA) to ensure comprehensive patient care. Our standard operating hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify physical impairments and functional limitations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs of each patient.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions, including manual therapy and exercise training, aimed at improving mobility and patient function.
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans based on their individual responses and outcomes.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with patients and their families to foster trust and encourage active participation in their rehabilitation.
  • Document all patient interactions, treatment modalities, and outcomes accurately in compliance with organizational standards.
  • Advocate for non-surgical alternatives and support patients in minimizing their reliance on medications through therapeutic interventions.
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as necessary to enhance the overall treatment experience.
  • Engage patients in wellness initiatives that support healthier lifestyles, focusing on strength, balance, and overall well-being.
  • Remain current with industry best practices and advocate for continuous professional development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary clientele includes individuals with orthopedic conditions seeking rehabilitation after injuries or surgeries. Our focus is on delivering specialized care to those with private medical insurance, ensuring that our treatments are accessible and tailored to individual health goals. The therapist will work closely with patients of varying ages and physical capabilities, promoting successful recovery and enhanced performance.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Nevada.
  • No history of disciplinary actions related to licensure.
  • Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and assessing patient progress.
  • Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, such as WebPT.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of one year of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
  • Experience in developing and implementing exercise programs tailored for a diverse range of patients.
  • Strong skills in patient evaluation and treatment planning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. The compensation package includes health benefits, dental coverage, paid time off, and opportunities for continuing education and professional development.
