Job description

Our client is building a dedicated Project Controls department to support project scheduling, cost controls, workforce planning, labor forecasting, production tracking, and performance reporting across our commercial construction operations. Reporting through the Chief Operating Officer, this team partners closely with Operations and Project Management to improve project visibility, maximize resource utilization, and drive successful project execution.

Role Overview

This role is focused on project scheduling execution and schedule management across multiple active commercial construction projects.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of Primavera P6 experience

  • Minimum 3 years working for a commercial general contractor or subcontractor

  • Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling

  • Experience developing and maintaining Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)

  • Ability to review and analyze master project schedules for logic errors and sequencing issues

  • Experience managing multiple project schedules simultaneously

  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, dependencies, and workflow planning

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and schedule reporting

  • Strong communication skills with both field and project management teams
