SUMMARY:
The Project Scheduler will serve in an on-site role for a multimillion-dollar project portfolio and develop detailed project schedules in Primavera P6. Microsoft Project with integration into Procore's Scheduling module. The schedule will incorporate an intricate work breakdown structure (WBS), task dependencies, and include technical activities. The Project Scheduler is required to understand and apply milestones that encompass an end-to-end project lifecycle, including the ability to baseline and identify the critical path. The scheduler shall utilize the proper identification and use of activity constraints and possess the ability to filter the schedule by activity, trade, resource, area, and other components of the WBS. Collaboration with other compartmentalized schedulers for integration into an overall program schedule will be required.
The Project Scheduler will create Cost and Resource Loaded schedules, gather data, validate, and incorporate it into the master project schedule, analyze schedule impacts and recommend corrective action to be taken to mitigate cost and schedule issues. Preparation of scheduling/update analysis reporting, including project indicators on a regular basis to the project teams.
The ability to effectively collaborate and work well in a team environment is vital to succeeding in this role, as is having strong customer-facing skills for meeting with stakeholders and conducting scheduled reviews. The Project Schedule will be expected to review and normalize existing project schedules to meet the established standard format for milestones, WBS, resources, etc.
This is a full-time FLSA-exempt position. This position requires 40 work hours per week, with the ability to work more if required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work with project and client stakeholders to establish project milestones, deliverables, and priorities with respect to the overall project schedule.
  • Coordinate efforts with other schedulers managing compartmentalized project schedules for integration into a program schedule across multiple projects.
  • Create and maintain cradle-to-grave schedules throughout a project's lifecycle, including: conceptualization, estimating, securing funding, execution, verification, and closeout.
  • Regularly interface with trade resources to update progress, changes, establish baselines, and monitor the critical path of the project schedule.
  • Maintain and up-to-date version of the schedule for sharing with other project resources and reporting during recurring project/owner meetings.
  • Establish a milestones and WBS in accordance with established project standards and maintain throughout the project's lifecycle.
  • Report and manage significant deviations from the baseline schedule, inform appropriate parties, and monitor mitigative actions.
  • Incorporate task relationships, logic, sequencing, and workflows in an intuitive fashion with the ability to filter and sort the schedule as needed for varying audiences. Utilize CMP scheudling to ensure a consistent, logical critical path esixts and can be filtered for viewing at all times.
  • Provide a cost and resource-loaded schedule with accurate and current data.
  • Utilize data sourced from numerous locations/individuals to generate, manage, and maintain a comprehensive project schedule in Microsoft Project with integration into Procore's Scheduling module.
  • Provide input and expertise in restructuring, resequencing and modifying the schedule to manage and mitigate delays due to unforeseen or unavoidable issues.
  • Structure the schedule in a way that allocates maximum manpower in as many practical locations as possible to achieve optimum progress and productivity.
  • Manage the schedule, sequencing, and resources to avoid any slippages of major milestones and/or deadlines.
  • Maintain a record of baseline deviations on project tasks/activities and historical information relative to any slippages, accelerations or deviations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • A degree in construction management, engineering or equivalent years of applicable experience.
  • Construction project scheduling in Microsoft Project is required; a minimum of five (5) full years of experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Procore's Scheduling module, released February 17, 2026, is highly desirable. Experience with Primavera P6 is preferred but not required.
  • A strong background in heavy industrial construction within specialized and technical environments is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Must be familiar with construction concepts and possess the ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
