Job description

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Senior Facilities Project Manager. In this role, you will be a member of the Mobility Division's Leadership Team who are responsible for leading a group of labs that support the automotive markets as well as battery markets. You will work with the members of the Mobility Team to develop plans, seek approval, and execute projects On Quality, On Time, and On Budget. This role reports to the VP of the Mobility division.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Mobility Leadership Team to prepare Capital Expenditures and Plans for approval.
  • Complete sophisticated analyses and make data-based recommendations
  • Prepare presentations
  • Lead Project Execution in collaboration with stakeholders across the business
  • Negotiate with outside vendors
  • Obtain multiple bids from contractors
  • Work with contractors on commercial projects
  • Track and prepare project updates
  • Present project updates to the divisional as well as business unit leadership
Skills / Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in project management, business management, or a similar field, with an MBA preferred
  • A minimum of 3 year's experience as a PMO analyst, project manager, or a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of project management strategies, processes, and tools
  • Experience working with contractors on commercial projects
  • Ability to analyze a range of complex data and make decisions based on analytical findings
  • Great computer skills and knowledge of PMO software tools, such as MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Power BI, MS Project and MS Access
  • Strong program coordination and administration abilities.
  • Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure
