Landscape Architecture Project Manager
Reports to: Senior Project Manager / Business Unit Leader
FLSA Classification: Exempt
Travel: 15%
Purpose
Duplantis Design Group is actively pursuing design-focused, creative candidates to augment our growing landscape architecture team. The Landscape Architecture Project Manager is responsible for the design and management of a wide array of projects ranging from park design, commercial development projects, large scale master-planning, community spaces and industrial and corporate campus plans. The project manager's focus will be providing utmost satisfaction to the client aligning with Duplantis Design Group's core values and should strive to ensure projects are completed within the allocated schedule and budget provided. The project manager is expected to operate projects with a certain degree of autonomy using staff and resources available within DDG's offices to provide the client with the highest quality of services. The individual should be familiar with project development from preliminary design to development of construction plans to jurisdictional permitting to completion of construction activities. Experience with Client coordination and communication will be fundamental characteristics for the prospective Landscape Architecture Project Manager.

Specific Assignments
• Collaborate with the Business Unit Leader(s), clients, and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timeline.
• Provide clear, effective, and constant communications with clients and team members, ensuring a high quality of work performed at a high level of client service.
• Utilize the landscape design process to lead a project design team and assist leadership with staff development.
• Coordinate with the client and other design professionals while taking projects through municipal and local jurisdictional requirements.
• Utilize exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to supervise staff for assigned projects, interface with clients and other discipline managers, and engage in marketing and business development to build lasting relationships with clients.
Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
• Licensed Professional Landscape Architect (PLA)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with landscape architecture projects.
• Advanced knowledge of landscape architecture design requirements and principles required to plan, design, and detail site and land development projects.
• Understanding of various jurisdictional codes and regulations and application to specific projects.
• Advanced knowledge of software used in landscape architecture design and plan production.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, graphic, and written communication skills.
• Exhibits accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office.
Preferred
• Previous project management experience.
• Previous construction observation experience.
• Membership in a professional practice organization.
• AutoCAD and/or Land F/X proficiency.
Physical Requirements
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to travel to various project sites.
• Must be able to access and navigate job sites and construction areas.
