Summary
Under limited supervision, the Project Manager will manage and coordinate all tasks associated with one or more projects or components of larger initiatives within Medicaid IT Services. Reporting to the Medicaid IT Services Deputy Director, this is an individual contributor role requiring a self-starter with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Daily Responsibilities
  • Manage the full project lifecycle(initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout) for small tolarge projects following established SDLC methodologies.
  • Developand maintain project documentation throughout the lifecycle, includingwork plans, status reports, and dashboards.
  • Coordinateand manage project scope, schedule, milestones, and deliverables to ensuretimely completion.
  • Overseecommunication plans and provide updates to stakeholders, sponsors, andleadership.
  • Identifypotential issues and implement risk mitigation strategies to facilitateproblem resolution.
  • Buildand maintain collaborative, high-performing project teams with availableresources.
  • Workwithin Change Management and Release Management frameworks for MedicaidSystem implementations.
  • Maintainproject roadmaps and present processes and stakeholder feedback to seniorleadership.
  • Mayrequire working over 40 hours/week, including weekends, as needed.

Required Skills
  • Strong Project Management,organizational, and analytical skills.
  • 6+ years of experience as a ProjectManager
  • 4+ years of experience with PowerBI
  • 3+ years of experience with Mainframeand distributed systems
  • Knowledgeof Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Advancedskills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Project Web App, Power BI,Teams, and Mainframe.
  • Excellentwritten and oral communication, adaptability, self-motivation, timemanagement, and ability to work effectively under pressure.

Preferred Skills
• Experience with healthcare claims processing.
• Process development and management expertise.
• Incident and change management experience.
