Job Title: Principal Technology Project/Program Manager
Location: Durham, NC, 27707 (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST
Pay rate: $44–$64/hr. on W2. (The compensation offered will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, geographic location, and other applicable factors, and will fall within the posted pay range)

 

Job Summary:
Seeking a Principal Technology Project/Program Manager to lead multiple large, complex, enterprise-level technology programs, with a strong focus on AI acceleration, operating models, governance, compliance, and technology strategy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage complex enterprise programs, including strategy, business cases, roadmaps, deliverables, and high-level program plans.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, coordinate interdepartmental activities, manage dependencies, and ensure milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Partner with SVP/VP-level stakeholders and translate enterprise technology concepts into practical implementation and operating models.
  • Develop and manage AI observability, governance, risk, compliance, performance metrics, and program outcomes.
  • Evaluate technology solutions, operating models, and ROI to support business decisions.
  • Identify and manage program risks, issues, changes, budgets, resources, vendors, and contracts/SLA performance.
  • Establish processes, governance frameworks, reporting, and performance metrics to ensure successful program execution.
  • Serve as a technology SME who can communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ensure programs align with applicable regulatory, accreditation, and organizational governance standards.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree preferred; 10+ years of experience in a related field strongly preferred.
  • Strong enterprise technology/program management experience.
  • Experience with AI, AI observability, operating model development, governance, and technology strategy.
  • Proven ability to work with senior executive stakeholders, including SVP/VP-level leaders.
  • Technology industry experience preferred.
