About Principle Spine & Pain

Principle Spine & Pain is a growing, physician-led specialty medical practice dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and operational excellence. As we continue to expand our services and improve the patient experience, we are seeking a Healthcare Operations Supervisor to help lead key operational initiatives across the organization.

This position is ideal for a high-performing medical practice administrator, office manager, healthcare coordinator, or operations professional looking to take the next step in their career and gain exposure to strategic projects, operational leadership, and value-based care initiatives.

Position Summary

The Healthcare Operations Supervisor will serve as the operational lead for our Chronic Care Management (CCM) program and support a variety of practice operations initiatives focused on improving efficiency, patient experience, and organizational performance.

This individual will work directly with executive leadership, providers, clinical staff, and external partners to ensure projects are implemented successfully, workflows are followed consistently, and operational goals are achieved.

We are looking for someone who is highly organized, accountable, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of projects from start to finish.

Primary Responsibilities

Chronic Care Management (CCM) Program Leadership

  • Serve as the internal operational owner of the organization’s Chronic Care Management program.
  • Lead implementation and ongoing management of CCM workflows across multiple clinic locations.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Principle Spine & Pain and our CCM vendor partner, ensuring accountability, responsiveness, and performance.
  • Monitor patient enrollment, engagement, retention, and program performance metrics.
  • Ensure providers and staff understand program workflows and responsibilities.
  • Identify barriers to success and develop practical solutions to improve outcomes.
  • Track key performance indicators and provide regular reporting to leadership.
  • Conduct routine reviews to ensure program goals and expectations are being achieved.

Operational Project Management

  • Support the implementation of strategic operational initiatives across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, accountability tools, and action item trackers.
  • Coordinate communication between providers, clinic staff, leadership, and external partners.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Identify operational gaps and proactively drive solutions.
  • Assist leadership with special projects and organizational initiatives as needed.

Patient Access & Back Office Operations

Partner with clinic leadership to improve operational performance in areas including:

  • Patient intake and registration
  • Customer service and patient communications
  • Referral management
  • Procedure scheduling
  • Insurance verification and authorization workflows
  • Patient follow-up and care coordination
  • Analyze workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, patient experience, and overall performance.
  • Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures, workflows, and best practices.
  • Support staff training and process improvement initiatives.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Create and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and tracking systems.
  • Monitor and report on key operational metrics.
  • Prepare recurring updates for executive leadership.
  • Support data collection, analysis, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize reporting and analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and operational challenges.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Three or more years of experience in healthcare operations, practice management, clinic administration, medical office leadership, or healthcare project coordination.
  • Experience working in a physician practice, specialty clinic, ambulatory healthcare setting, or healthcare services organization strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Experience working with electronic medical records and healthcare technology platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, accountability, and follow-through.
