Project Manager-Norcross, GA

POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Manager will manage and lead the execution of improvement projects for the growing Norcross Fiber Manufacturing Operation.

This is an on-site role. Successful candidate will manage complex, cross-functional manufacturing projects including execution, reporting, risk tracking, stakeholder coordination, and implementation activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Contribute to business case development, ROI analysis, budgets and supporting project documentation as needed.

Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of initiatives of all sizes and complexities in alignment with the business strategy.

Direct responsibility for ensuring projects are executed on time and within budget.

Manage resources and engagement through RACI framework.

Responsible for the overall project plan. Lead implementation planning, project tracking, and execution activities.

Monitor plan adherence, milestones, risks, and action items to help ensure successful project delivery. Lead recovery initiatives

Coordinate with cross-functional teams and regional stakeholders to maintain alignment across initiatives in manufacturing.

Lead project status updates with senior leadership, utilizing dashboards, reporting materials, and meeting documentation.

Help identify operational challenges, risks, and improvement opportunities through data analysis and stakeholder engagement; proficient at FMEA.

Participate in change management and continuous improvement activities to support sustainable implementation

Support site transformation managers and project teams with execution coordination and follow-up activities

Facilitate meetings, workshops, and project discussions to support collaboration and issue resolution

Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders across operations, engineering, supply chain, and corporate functions

Support multiple concurrent projects while maintaining organization and prioritization

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA Preferred

5+ years as a project manager in operations, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, or related environments

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.

Experience applying Lean Six Sigma principles, process improvement methodologies, and operational excellence tools within manufacturing or industrial environments

Experience in manufacturing environments related to telecommunication, fiber optic, and cable preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools like Microsoft Project, Planview, etc., and approved AI tools

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs

Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills

Experience with project tracking, reporting, and implementation support

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment

Ability to travel periodically as required for project success.
