About the Opportunity

Our client, a growing environmental consulting and engineering firm, is seeking a Water & Wastewater Project Manager to lead their Water Engineering team in Wheeling, WV. This is a high-visibility role managing a growing municipal account, with immediate opportunity for career progression, mentorship, and hands-on project leadership.


What You'll Do

  • Lead design and technical direction on water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects โ€” including supply, storage, collection/distribution, treatment, and pumping/conveyance systems โ€” from planning through construction completion
  • Prepare construction documents, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and schedules
  • Provide technical supervision and direction to a team of design engineers and technical staff
  • Coordinate multi-disciplined engineering teams and support proposal development for strategic client pursuits
  • Serve as the primary client contact, managing relationships with municipal officials, permitting agencies, developers, and contractors


What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • 7+ years of experience in water/wastewater/stormwater planning, design, and construction administration as a lead design engineer or project manager
  • Current PE license (or ability to obtain a WV PE license within 6 months)
  • Strong team leadership experience, or proven potential to lead and mentor
  • Excellent technical skills in water/wastewater/stormwater design; AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency a plus
