Job description

Job Title: Project Manager
Client: Aerospace Industry
Duration: 6 Months (Possibility of Extension)
Location: Orangeburg, NY 10962
Shift: 1st Shift - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Role Overview
• Lead and manage capital projects related to manufacturing machinery and equipment
• Oversee project execution across multiple sites in NY, CT, and GA
• Coordinate installation, upgrades, and commissioning of equipment
• Ensure projects meet budget, schedule, safety, and quality requirements
Responsibilities
• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of capital projects including scope, timelines, and budgets
• Manage manufacturing equipment projects including CNC machines and heat treat furnaces
• Coordinate project activities across operating locations in CT, GA, and NY
• Serve as the primary project lead for the Orangeburg, NY site
• Coordinate schedules between equipment manufacturers, maintenance teams, and contractors
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, QA, and Supply Chain teams
• Monitor project milestones, risks, and deliverables
• Communicate project updates and risks to leadership and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Drive continuous improvement and standardized project management practices
• Travel once per month to each supported site (CT, GA, NY) for project coordination
Must Have
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Experience managing capital projects such as equipment installation and facility upgrades
• Experience managing manufacturing machinery projects
• Ability to coordinate projects across multiple sites
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel between project locations as required
Nice to Have
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Industrial Technology, or related field
