Scope of Work:
Capio Group is looking for an experienced Project Manager to provide services, delivering ongoing maintenance, operational support, and updates for the systems maintained within the three Salesforce client organizations. The Project Manager will ensure the successful implementation of system updates, provide operational support, optimize system performance, and manage the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to maintain high-quality and efficient service delivery. Additionally, the Project Manager will maintain integrations between Salesforce Orgs and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow, and conduct knowledge transfer activities to equip client staff with the necessary skills and expertise for continued operational success. The Project Manager will also be responsible for the procurement and management of Salesforce licenses for the supported orgs, ensuring alignment with system requirements and user needs.
The Project Manager will provide maintenance and operations services tailored to support various objectives, which may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Managing the project deliverables and serving as the primary point of contact for the task completion at the Salesforce Org Level.
  • Implement updates and provide ongoing maintenance, along with operational support that includes proactive system monitoring, performance tuning, user assistance, incident response within defined SLAs, regular health checks and documentation updates for existing applications and systems within each Salesforce Org.
  • Implement system updates, including decisive bug fixes and performance optimizations to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Lead and manage all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from comprehensive requirements gathering to deployment, rigorous testing, and post-deployment support.
  • Maintain the integration processes between these Salesforce Orgs and external systems, guaranteeing seamless data flow and system interoperability.
    Implement adaptive maintenance and apply security fixes to ensure ongoing compliance with the security standards outlined by the client.
  • Ensure that all deliverables consistently meet agreed-upon standards and best practices, thereby optimizing the effectiveness and efficiency of the Salesforce Orgs and their associated
    applications.
  • Conduct thorough knowledge transfer activities for the client staff and its designees, ensuring that all the resources are fully trained and equipped with essential knowledge for operational success.

Mandatory Experience:

  1. Within the last ten (10) years, must have a minimum of five (5) years’ FTE experience serving in a Project Manager (PM) or Scrum Master role for software implementation projects.
  2. Within the last ten (10) years, must have at least three (3) years of experience directly managing a team of at least five (5) FTE resources.
  3. Within the last ten (10) years, must have a minimum of three (3) years FTE experience must be from Information Technology (IT) development project(s).
  4. Possession of at least one(1) of the following current and active certifications. A copy of the certification must be provided upon request. The certification is required and cannot be substituted with the experience. 
    a. Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI). 
    b. SAFe Scrum Master or Agile Certified Practitioner through the PMI 
  5. Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. A copy of the degree must be provided upon request.
    a. If staff person does not have a bachelor's degree, four (4) additional years of mandatory
    experience from requirement #M3 above can be submitted in lieu of the bachelor's. A total of seven(7) years experience will be required in order to meet requirement #M3 and this requirement.
    b. Experience cited in lieu of education requirements may have occurred at any time during
    the staff person's career, but must not overlap with experience cited to meet requirement
    #M3.
  6. Must be able to provide a client/user end reference contact information for each applicable project meeting the requirements upon request in the qualification form. In addition, you must be able to submit completed reference forms when requested. Each reference form must be signed by the referenced individual. The reference contact must be a representative of the company for which the project was developed and must have served in a management or supervisory role.
Desirable Experience:
  1. Possession of a Master’s Degree. A copy of the degree must be provided upon request.    The degree is required and cannot be substituted with the experience.
  2. Possession of Information Technology Infrastructure Library(ITIL) certification. A copy of the certification must be provided upon request.
  3. Within the last ten (10) years, at least one (1) year of FTE experience working with California Employment Development Department (EDD) systems.
