Job description

Sigma Defense is seeking a Project Manager to run multiple DoW projects related to electronic warfare simultaneously. The hired candidate will work with a team of mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and software engineers to deliver products in a rapid acquisition environment. Timelines will be tight, so proper planning and execution are critical to our success. Some travel will be required to perform site visits and acceptance tests.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant Project Manager experience.
  • PMP Certification is required.
  • Experience in DoW contracting and rapid acquisition timelines is preferred.
  • Attentive, organized, outgoing, and good time management skills are preferred.
  • Capable of thriving both independently and as a collaborative team player.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an unspecified field of study.

Essential Job Responsibilities (not all-inclusive):

  • Prepare monthly reports to ensure adequate funding, budget, schedule, and contract compliance.
  • Prepare and support the creation of documents for contract deliverables.
  • Prepare and assist in preparation of status reports on projects.
  • Engage with primary Government customers and the COR to fulfill requirements and identify appropriate resources.
  • Ensure adequate resourcing to support all test and field events before system deliveries, facilitating a seamless transition for the deployed users.
  • Manage the diverse challenges related to the development of complex systems, as well as the coordination and execution of design projects.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 annually.
